The Community Garden is a youth-led, multi-generational project that closes the gap between the need for fresh food and its availability. Working with families, schools, and agricultural partners, we grow healthy produce while cultivating healthier lives. Our efforts feed seniors in care facilities and the wider community, support low- to moderate-income families, teach students agriculture and leadership skills, and supply local shelters and outreach programs. In Decatur and Dougherty Counties, where poverty rates exceed the national average, the garden delivers more than food it builds skills, confidence, and hope for a stronger future.
